Nordic Trax

Over the past 10 years the Vancouver based label Nordic Trax has never disappointed with a constant release schedule of the best in deep house music.  Their artist and remix roster reads like a who's who of quality house and includes the likes of Jay Tripwire, Morgan Page, Gavin Froome, Halo, Kelvin K, Murray Richardson, Pete Moss...the list goes on and on.

Nordic Trax don't just limit themselves to vinyl either and have a great range of CDs of both DJ mix compilations and artist albums.  They were among the first people to pick up on the Chicago talent that is DJ Heather and quickly released her first mix compilation.  They're also ahead of the pack with artist albums and often focus on local talent, prime examples being Jon Delerious, Gavin Froome and the forthcoming debut artist album by our very good friend Jay Tripwire.

2006 was a brilliant year for the label - both Dan and Strakes at here at Kahua picked up every release with the highlights being delivered by Kelvin K (stunning remixes by Hipp-E and Members Only), Jay Tripwire (Gastown Shuffle) and Chris Harris and Dom Martin (Madnail EP).

2007 has already started out in fine form - we've had both release on promo so far.  The first came from rising European producer Gawron Paris and the 2nd by Kelvin K (Black Lights & Bonfires EP) which marks the 50th release.  We're constantly restocking on Nordic Tracks releases here as they fly off the shelves so quickly so keep checking back to the site or drop us a message if there's anytihng particular you're after.
