Fabriclive32 is an all-embracing mix from Tayo, whose varied DJ career has proved him to be a supportive linchpin across breakbeat and bass culture. As a party promoter, music journalist, press officer and DJ, Tayo has been essential to the development of the breaks scene. His Friction night, which he ran with fellow breaks pioneers Rennie Pilgrem and Adam Freeland, put breakbeat on the map as a veritable genre. In 1999, Tayo started his own breakbeat label Mob Records, which saw massive releases from the likes of the Stanton Warriors, Lee Coombs, Meat Katie and Krafty Kuts. Tayo has released four celebrated mix albums, including two Y4K releases. Fabriclive32 is a brilliantly structured continuation from his previous mix albums, connecting his breakbeat upbringing with his current influences. Fabriclive32 proves to be a cohesive element between all aspects of bass culture from breaks to dubstep to Baltimore House.
